Where: The Norwegian Forest Finnish Museum, Svullrya
When: 17 September 2026, 14:00–19:00
Green Blood, supported by the Research Council of Norway, explores how we can change our relationship with nature from one in which we take more than we give back to one based on greater reciprocity. We explore this through, among other things, clothing and Forest Finn culture. What can we learn from cultures with a more reciprocal relationship with nature? Is it not a paradox that the clothes we wear for outdoor activities contain more plastic than other clothes? How can we bring out the green blood in all of us?
The event begins with an academic seminar before moving into a more exploratory part, where you can experience the project and meet project participants and invited guests.
